Grand Teton National Park Fall Elopement
Tori & Karl
This wedding was literally a DREAM!! The pandemic didn’t alter this couple’s plans to seal the deal! Tori and Karl rented an Air Bnb cabin for their whole family to fly from Ohio to Island Park, Idaho. This Cabin is STUNNING and has a private lake! We started the morning getting ready and doing a first look down on the property. We got family photos over with super fast so we could enjoy the rest of the day!
Details
Tori and her dad made these super cute custom Converse for her wedding shoes with pearl details and blue satin ribbon. Her dad also hand crafted her bouquet! The pearls were also a family heirloom for over 100 years!
Getting Ready
First Look
Tori met Karl on the property so he could see her in her dress for the first time. I love first looks because it gives the bride and groom a private moment. A quiet time to be together and to have a moment without anyone else watching. They can say sweet words without anyone there. It’s so personal and beautiful.
The Ceremony
After the first look and a few family portraits we piled into the car and headed off to Swabacher’s Landing in Grand Teton National Park. This spot is a perfect location if you want a quiet mountain view with Trees. This is also perfect for grandparents that can’t walk far. The Tetons sit in the back and there’s a cute little river that runs along the path. This ceremony was about 20 minutes with symbolic religious representation.
Bridals
After the Ceremony the Videographer and I took Karl and Tori away to adventure around the park for some stunning portraits!! We started at Swabacher’s Landing and moved on to other locations through the park. The Tetons sat under a blanket of clouds and the mood was everything! We finished off with a private first dance on the rocky bed of Jenny Lake. And ended the night with dinner back at the cabin.
