How to propose in Grand Teton National Park!

So, you want to put a ring on it in the most beautiful place in the west?!!! Jackson Hole is the perfect place to propose to your partner, from fine dining, to the serene quiet mountain air. There a billion choices for you to choose to propose to your person!

Grand Teton National Park:

With the stunning view of the Tetons, you can’t go wrong with proposing here!! Depending on how adventurous you are there are a lot of places you can plan to propose!

If you are the hiking type, Grand Teton National Park has a plethora of stunning hikes. Delta Lake, Phelps Lake loop and Aspen Ridge are great places to hike to a destination with stunning views! Can you imagine this view when you propose! The 4-8 hour hike will be so worth it!!

Some shorter, more easy hikes to a beautiful Teton view check out, Signal Mountain, Heron Pond, Hidden Falls, Jenny Lake.

If you are looking for a small nature walk trail with the Tetons as a backdrop, String Lake, Taggart Lake, North Jenny Lake, Schwabacher’s Landing, or Blacktail Overlook Ponds. Honestly any of the pull outs along Grand Teton park road would make for a STUNNING view for a proposal!!!

Learn more about these hikes and how long they will take and how many miles they are at this link below!

Maybe you want something a little more experience based! Winter time in Jackson has dog sledding, horse carriage tours through the Elk Refuge and snowmobile rides. During the summer you can take the Gondola up to the top of the Ski Resort to have a gorgeous view of Jackson Hole and a great experience!

Winter in Jackson is a dreamy wonderland and there are still options for a gorgeous proposal even when a lot of the tourist attractions are closed! Jackson Hole town antler arch, Amagani, Teton Park Road, Mouton Barns, and either Ski resort will give you a stunning winter backdrop!

Time of Year

You might be asking what is a good time for a proposal? Summer in Jackson is as green as it gets and if you want to add some wildflowers to the mix make sure you plan from Late May-June for the best wildflower views! If you want to get the warmest weather possible plan on late July- August. If you want a dreamy fall color backdrop plan on coming between September- Early October. And if you want to have a Winter wonderland November- March is the best time!!

Basically any time in Jackson Hole is a good time, especially when you are creating this once in a lifetime memory!! Curious to see what your proposal could look like? Here’s a link to my Portfolio!
