Emalee’s Barn in Rexburg, Idaho got a full summer wedding this year and I LOVED every second of being there. I’ve known Aimee’s family for years, so showing up as her photographer hit differently. Two families went all in on this day. They handmade every floral arrangement in that barn and built nearly every detail themselves. You could feel it the second you walked in.
Emalee’s Barn Is the Real Deal
This venue has so much character. Emalee’s Barn leans into the warm and rustic. It’s genuinely beautiful on its own. Both families brought handmade florals and DIY décor, and the whole space looked personal and intentional because of it.
Florals made by people who love the couple photograph differently than anything ordered off a vendor list. Every arrangement at Aimee and Carter’s wedding had that energy.
The Ceremony Had BOTH Sides in Tears
Both sides of the family cried. BOTH. That is how you know vows are landing.
Aimee and Carter stood up there and said their words to each other. The whole room was completely with them. I’ve shot a lot of ceremonies. Aimee and Carter’s is going in the memory bank.
Idaho Summer Did Its Thing
Summer in Rexburg showed up with warm light and easy energy all day. Emalee’s Barn was a perfect fit for it. The whole day was relaxed and golden. Every frame was easy to work with.
